Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and developed a passion for sprinting during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first trial she took her skills, she placed second for 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished her high school education and was signed to a pro-contract for Adidas. In 2004 she was enrolled at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. In 2005, she became the youngest world champion of 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007 beating her longtime Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top third in each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
